Presentation

La Chapelle de Riboux is located on the top of this small village, situated on the foothills of the Sainte Baume massif at 512 m altitude. It is the village which was used by Claude Berry as a shooting place for many scenes of the films Jean de Florette and Manon des sources after the work of Marcel Pagnol.

Building sites and works

The following restoration works of the Chapelle de St Pilon have been carried out:

  • Heliportation of 63 tons of materials and equipment; 
  • Restoration of the ashlar roof
  • Restoration of the exterior and interior coatings
