Come and explore the Fort d’Entrecasteaux during the Heritage Week!
FROM THURSDAY 15 TO FRIDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2022
On the occasion of the 39th edition of the European Heritage Days, La Citadelle de Marseille, in partnership with ACTA VISTA, has made its Heritage Week. The site will open its doors to the public around round tables, guided tours & workshops to discover the trades of the old building.
The visits
Cultural mediation (young public)
We complete our unique approach to heritage, both inclusive and committed, by opening our sites to young audiences. A unique and sensitive experience!
The Fort d’Entrecasteaux is the pilot site for our edutainment activities, carried out by ACTA VISTA in partnership with the Citadelle of Marseille.
Our approach is based on the heritage and our work sites in order to :
- promote equal access to heritage and cultural buildings and allow for a sensitive experience at the heart of the history of these exceptional sites
- approach the history of the sites through experience
- unveil the magic of the professions linked to the restoration and
- enhancement of heritage awaken the senses, curiosity and creativity through “doing together” thanks to our fun and participative toursto
- sensitize to the notions of citizenship and inclusion by relying on the social project that we carry.
Our audiences
The audiences we welcome are young people from 8 to 25 years old, from formal and non-formal education:
> school children ;
> public from socio-educational structures;
> public under the influence of the law;
> people with disabilities.
Our modalities
> Groups (minimum 8 young people) are welcomed on the sites for a 1h30 workshop-visit led by a mediator;
> Online booking is mandatory for the proposed times
> Rates: Cultural mediation eligible for the Culture Pass or, for non-eligible structures, made possible thanks to the precious support of our patronage partners.
