20 years working for social and professional inclusion through an innovative model
OUR HISTORY
20 years working for social and professional inclusion through an innovative model
Association under the law of 1901 created on January 28, 2002, ACTA VISTA's vocation is to develop training and professional integration workcamps based on the restoration of built heritage.
We have tested, deployed and refined a model of workcamp combining training, professional integration and heritage restoration, with the main objective of returning to work women and men in precarious situations who have joined the program.
On our sites, the training was totally adapted to the public, most often without pre-requisites, as well as to the requirements of the support.
In order to enhance the value of the training course thus designed, finalized by the award of a qualification (professional title), ACTA VISTA created in 2005 the training organization BAO Formation, which has been entrusted with all the training provided on ACTA VISTA's sites since 2009. Specialized in training through professional gestures and on-the-job learning, BAO Formation is a key partner in the deployment of our actions.
We have been deploying our workcamps for nearly 15 years in the southern region and Corsica and in 2015 we began the spin-off of our workcamp model in new territories.
In order to support its development, ACTA VISTA joined the Groupe SOS*, an associative group and leader in social entrepreneurship in Europe.
It joins the Groupe's culture sector, newly created in 2017.
This label selects social innovations that have proven their impact and are ready to become national solutions.
ACTA VISTA also initiates or participates in broader projects involving the development and operation of large-scale heritage sites.
With the Groupe SOS, it is creating in 2019 the association La Citadelle de Marseille, holder of a 40-year long lease on the Fort d'Entrecasteaux. Laureate of the Réinventer le Patrimoine competition, La Citadelle de Marseille is the new manager of the Fort and has two main missions: to carry out the restoration of the Fort with the help of ACTA VISTA's work camps and to ensure that it is open to the public and operated.
Since May 2021, we have been opening these workcamps to young people in order to promote the sites entrusted to us, the trades and know-how transmitted and the social project. This mediation activity has been deployed since May 2021 on the Fort d'Entrecasteaux site and is intended to be developed on the new workcamps carried out by ACTA VISTA.
This ranking recognizes and rewards 50 structures and entrepreneurs in the social and solidarity economy, recognized for their impact projects..
ACTA VISTA receives, at the Institut de France, the Heritage Prize of the Stéphane Bern Foundation. A nice recognition of its actions by the jury.
Our project won the grand jury prize in the Education, Training & Know-how category, along the public prize.
Immense pride and much recognition towards all our ACTA VISTA and BAO Formation teams, who work hard to facilitate the return to work of hundreds of people each year. Our teams prove every day that the combination of integration and restoration of built heritage is possible and that our project is full of meaning.
