Presentation
The municipality, strongly committed to an ecological and environmental approach, created the shared garden of the quarry in 2021 to help the broader community understand the importance of nourishing land in urban spaces.
The ACTA VISTA project aims to complete the development of the site through works to enhance safety and user comfort (stairs, retaining wall), using high-quality materials such as natural stones from the site of the goat farm.

Work sites and works
Numerous restoration actions will be carried out to restore the shared gardens of Septèmes-les-Vallons:
- Creation of a dry-stone retaining wall, built with lime mortar, including stairs.
- Construction of a donkey-step staircase set on a bed of sand using reclaimed stone.
- Creation of a masonry staircase anchored in the rock to access the upper part of the plot.
